Welcome to the Department

I would like to express my delight for our initial strive towards the dissemination of information about the Department of Engineering Science and Humanities of IOE, Pulchowk Campus - whether you are a prospective student, an academic researcher, an old friend, or merely a surfer.

The department has almost 50 academics, specialized in a variety of areas in the fields of Engineering Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Communication English, Nepali and Management  and ample  technical and administrative staff to provide support to the department's laboratories and management.

Our outreach faculty members of the academics are dedicated to develop and maintain our reputation for teaching and research activities. These have  a direct influence on upgrading student education and carry on research activities. The department is enthusiastic to further boost up these activities in the future and hope for the cooperation of the faculty staff and students.

As the  Head of Department, I am fortunate to work in a department that is friendly, enthusiastic and cooperative. I look forward at future challenges with confidence. In the following pages, we have tried to incorporate as much useful information as possible, about our different Instruction committees (faculties), about our teaching staff and their research interests, along with research activities of our department.
